Yep the controls are fine. As others have said i dont know whats the matter with TouchArcades reviews lately, they used to be excellent but now i ignore them which is a shame

Wish I could ignore them, but getting that 3/5 instead of a 4/5 because that certain reviewer doesn't know when touch-controls are good is a difference in sales and not in a good way. .. can't have all games controlled like flinging birds at pigs

Liking the update, the improved gem placement works well for me, it feels more like a choice to collect it or not and it's nice to be shaken out of my rhythm from time to time.

I also like the new world, the nod to Mario is cool and it feels like a welcome change of pace after the terrifyingly manic Viking levels.

Second time around seems absurdly difficult but I daresay I'll get used to it. It might be nice if the aggressiveness ramped up more smoothly but I'm happy believe it's just me being inept.

Great update overall, sharpening up a game I already really like.

awesome update! Hope to see some scores shoot up with the new extra lives!!

and what would you like to see in the update? because we pretty much tapped out the ideas for this one and working hard on the next game

It would be nice to have the leaderboard as a separate menu, rather than it appearing automatically after a period of menu inactivity. It would make it much easier to be able to directly open it up to show off the awesome highscores which have been achieved.

On the topic of leaderboards, if the global list is brought up via Game Center, the whole app must be closed in order to get back to the menu. Simply hitting "Done" does not remove Game Center from the screen in order to allow me to continue playing.

Also, the "multiplier" is also odd. In challenges, apparently my score multiplier is x7, and if I am collecting the pieces in order, I am getting 70 points. Although, when I am not, I am getting 7 points, which would mean my multiplier is x10, not x7. Same for each of the levels below.

Obviously the best thing that could arrive in an update is new levels, because we all love new levels, right? Specifically, a futuristic level with moving platforms? Along with the new levels, some characters would be awesome, to match the future level, a character could be a robot?

Dare I say a boss level at the end of the first set of levels (so after Boooalicious at the current version, for example)? Said boss could only be killed by collecting pieces of his heart or something which spawn one by one and he attempts to kill you.

If a boss was implemented, you could definitely have a new set of challenges for things like defeating him for the first time, collecting a rare piece of his heart or something?

Just some ideas off the top of my head right now, didn't really give it much thought until you mentioned it. Haha.

We know about the gamecenter "done" bug, but it seems to work for others (and also on our test devices) so still looking on how to get that one fixed.

The multiplier seems to work? Getting them in order is 10points, and else it's 1 point.. multiply those by your multiplier is 70pt vs 7pt ?

No real plans on adding new levels to this one, it's not really a game designed to be big and have a lot of levels, most gamers that reach out to us haven't even managed to complete all the levels and play the "second difficulty" levels... also we are a very small company, so most of the focus is put on our upcoming game (http://orangepixel.net/gunslugs) and other projects. Never say never, but it's very unlikely we'll add a new level to this oen ;( (there is a bigger chance Chrono&Cash "2" is made as real run-and-jump game)

The multiplier makes sense now. I was forgetting that the base point is just the single 1 point, rather than what I was on, 7.

Disappointing to hear that there won't be any new levels, because my friend and I play the game on the bus to and from school, and it is always good to have some new things added in. Maybe I'm only desperate for an update because I've overplayed.

If you make a Chrono&Cash 2, keep in the same "bloodline" as this one, because I can't imagine it any differently. Just spice things up.
