Yeah I'm actually not sad or surprised.

I'm not sad because at least they didn't just change it to freemium, they're actually trying to apologise with the money that will be given once updated, that's something mos don't do.

I'm not surprised, because this indeed is a game that is heavily based on multiplayer. And I'm sure it was quiet on the multiplayer side. Now with freemium, I can see my friends playing this together in school.

Best of luck with the game

Yep, this is how I feel. This is probably the first time I'm actually not upset about a game I purchased going free, because of the way the devs announced it. Plus I'm getting free stuff 'cause I originally purchased it!

The developers made the right choice on this. Clearly, they had a lack of players and making it free will attract more people to the game. And you will even give some IAP to this who purchased your game. I can't see why people are complaining about it, you should be glad that more people will play multiplayer now.

yup, don't care much, as I deleted this one about 2 weeks after it was released... got my buck out of it...

But I'm definitely not going to be a day one supporter of Everplay anymore... Terra Noctis, Spellsword and this... shoulda learned my lesson after TN

oh well.

I'd be surprised if anyone is shocked with this turning freemium. I'd also be surprised if anyone was stupid enough to buy a paid Everplay app in the future.

In other words: Neverpay.

Seriously guys? I don't really think this is screwing early adopters. I'm surprised a multiplayer game that isn't by Gameloft lasted this long before needing more players to the multiplayer. With today's standards, this lasted very long.

Besides, you'll get more people online, a nice head start with the coins given to people who bought it and you only paid like a couple of bugs for it(not sure if it was $0.99 or $2.99, don't remember)!

Seriously what has gotten into you guys?! Avoiding a game just because developer "screwed early adopters" is not the way to go. You'll only make sure that other people will get "screwed" like you. If we don't buy those games on day 1, this will keep happening all the time.

Everyplay makes excellent games and I'm not really frustrated that the all of their games have gone free, I got the bucks back really quick and I even thought the price was still too low. You can abandon the developer but that will not make you any better than your average Joe playing Temple Run and Angry Birds...

Point is: don't feel screwed if you bought a game that went free couple of months later, only feel screwed if it happened in a month. Well that at least is the case for me.

LOLavi you're wondering why they're hating it? It's because hating F2P games is mainstream these days.

I'm totally not against supporting developers on day one... but the way that developers treat the AppStore, I totally understand why people wait it out. So... I'm basically just going to support developers that deserve support. I'm not going to buy games just because you want me to feel guilty that a developer made multiple bad decisions, loosing their fans, and that you have the possibility of never seeing another release come out of their studio because of it. iTunes reviews are complete crap, especially with games that have as many iTunes reviews as this one does, so what are we told? Vote with our wallets. That's what I'm going to do...

You want me to feel bad for someone? I feel bad for developers that would KILL for 130 sales over the course of 6 months, let alone one week, and their games are still in the AppStore, NOT going free or dropping in price...

Sorry void if I came off as judgemental or you felt like I was trying to make you feel guilty. That was not my intention, I have high respect at your taste in games. No I am just surprised to see this in TA where people can spend 30-40$ on an iOS game, but at the same time can get mad at developers for making their $0.99 game freemium and then react like they got scammed and someone stole hundreds of dollars from him/her.
