Presume you havent got it but iMame runs Gauntlet 1 and 2.
Mage Gauntlet is a 'bit' like Gauntlet, retro graphics, lots of monsters to kill. Theres quite a few twin stick shooters with tons of monsters after you. Gauntlet is a retro classic though, shame Atari never released it on iOS |

I did get iMame when it came out but while I might be a packrat, it's not really what I was looking for. The whole rome thing is a pain.
I just downloaded Raiding Co which isn't bad but I think there's more to be done there. I will have a look at Mage Gauntlet. It seemed like more of an RPG than a Dungeon Bash though. [MG is not really Gauntlet-like...but RocketCat are working on something I hear] Last edited by lategaming; 01-01-2012 at 12:54 PM.. |

Whole rom thing is a pain ? Not at all. To have the original arcade classics on your ipod is amazing, just hearing 'warrior needs food....' on the original Gauntlet, its a dream !
But yeah good point, the next game should be much more 'gauntlet' like from RocketCat |

The 'Midway Arcade' app has Gauntlet 1 & 2 as in app purchases as well as a load of other games bundled. Gauntlet is a perfect arcade clone as well.
