Looks interesting, I'm curious as how the controls scale to the iPad, anyone tried it? Too late for the promo codes

Imagine a giant gameboy
Controls wise it's a little bit of a stretch for smaller hands but ok for the average adult.

Default Tilt controls

Receiving reviews on the AppStore that the onscreen dpad controls are not working. This is not an error but some players are accidentally turning on the Tilt controls.

Pressing the Jump button at the Title or Pause screens will toggle the controls between Touch and Tilt.

The AppStore description has been updated to include the above info.

The Tilt function was originally a test only feature but ended up being left in the final game as a bonus, this is why it is activated by the Jump button instead of a more user friendly design such as it's own button or menu.

Definitely gonna give this game a try. Even though I already own every GameBoy game ever made on my jailbroken iPhone, I love these modern retro takes on the genre. Sold.

Been playIng this game since last night and loving it. If ur looking for a retro gamboy style game, look no further, this is very awesome.

My only suggestion would be to make some of the UI features easier to access. I had to read through this thread to figure out how to find the level select option. And the brightness and tilt/d-pad controls options take too much experimentation to figure out. These options should be readily selectable from the Select menu.

Thanks Simmi

Agree with you SuperWeird. Extra options were added when the game was already finished - Tilt, green & bw screens, brightness and level select. A seperate menu would have been cleaner but to speed up development time and to keep in with the GameGuy handheld theme, options where added to the buttons on the machine - perhaps too retro for today's gamers?
