Yeah its a shame, you could say it 'adds' something to the game as its a different type of shoot em up which makes it stand out. On the other hand if you could move all over the place (with relative touch) i think it'll be far far better.

Theres a lot of potential with this game but yeah so many times i think 'damn why cant i move up !'.

Glad its only 69p, wouldnt have paid for more it unless they changed the way you move.

Besides you being able to fight back, this game looks like off the leash

That's a good thing though, isn't it? Bonus is that i hate tilt only controls so a d-pad addition is awesome (so wish Off the Leash had that.)

i say the tilt is the better option in this game, the video i done was with tilt why you ask as i was finding the d-pad controls just didn't response as I wished it couple times i had to press again before i get a response.

But there is no saying it be the same on your ipad i was using iphone 4 so of course less Real estate space to play with which may account for it sticking and thus tilting on the iphone isnt that much of a deal nor have to tilt it far to get a respone from the game as you see in video i got far in the normal game

From the studio that brought Infect Them All: Zombies and Fingershot RPG. I've got very mixed feelings on this one. What essentially is a take on Big Pixel's format for Off The Leash, while adding in some mildly-worthy rpg components absent from 'Leash'; it still falls well short of something like the greatness of 10000000 in terms of deep integration of rpg enhancing elements. Perhaps this game is good, but not for me. A few glaring rough edges hamper the experience further.

First, as has been mentioned, screen dimming while playing is an absolute no-no, very sloppy. Second, the 'level-up' menus are designed poorly in button placement resulting in a couple of accidental up-grade purchases, very annoying. Art and animations feel clunky, stiff, and not very well done.

And, finally, what I would say is the biggest wasted opprotunity: the laziness in the rpg integration. I felt this with Wizorb, as well. Where these fantastic, game expanding components are merely tacked-on, a truly wasted approtunity. For instance, the level-up system here is simply a baked-in stat increase, which you buy through coin collecting when killing enemies (iap included, of course). This lends itself to the most rudimentary and stale aspect of rpg-ness. Superficial, and not exciting in the least.

There is one thing done right here, the party member system. This is why I'm so frustrated, so much more could have been done with ramping up some crazy shooter-style pyrotechnics. Instead it's another buy your way to the top affair. The game it is, is not the one I want it to be. Sufficiently done, but not something I can really get behind.

or jail break to the top seen the game already out there, i said before i never take much notice of the leader boards as i know how open to abuse there are, side note i had to install tiny towers again and seen that the leader board has been removed from the game possible to many cheating to get to the top?

Fun little time waster shooter that I can play with 1 hand and keeps me coming back for more with its progression and RPG elements.

I hope I'm missing something here, when I press the "upgrade" button, it just brings up the iap list. I assume that can't be right?

Edit: Ugh, never mind. I got it.
