My opinion of the update is Flooz was not available for visiting friends' streets. My 24-hour window turns over early evening U.S. EST and last night there were only coins to be had.
A couple questions: 1] What's the point of building a hotel? I understand I can invite friends to stay, but what's in it for me? ![]() 2] How are crystals utilized? I have 140+ blue crystals and a few reds and yellows given to me by friends. |

Having visitors in your hotel means more characters buying on your street which means leveling up stalls faster. Plus it's fun...and it's an easy way to help your GC friends. So far I've only had to use crystals to upgrade the hotel. But you need some of every color...and your street only produces one color. So it forces you to interact on some level with friends. Crystals can be gifted/traded...but they're also received as a visit rewards. That's why the crystal color is shown on your friends list...so you can see who produces the colors you need. |

I've given up on getting flooz from friends.
Something like 5-6 days ago I got one flooz. Then no flooz until 2 days ago, when I got 2, and since then still no flooz! So it wasn't the update. Hotels allow you to invite friends' villagers, who stay for a day. They also have a benefit of 100%+ to wallet size, which is nice because then hotel villagers spend more. Crystals are also exactly what you need to upgrade the hotel. ![]() e: pretty sure you don't get crystals for visiting people though - or else I'd be drowning in hundreds. |

Thanks to everyone for helping me with my red crystal shortage!
On another note, does anyone have an idea if there are any "collector items" past levels 15 or so? I have enough Flooz to buy one, but I don't want to waste it now if in 2 levels there is something even better at about the same price. Thanks ![]() Also, does anyone know what to do when you don't get Flooz from the lucky spin? I hit a big jackpot but got nothing, after spending real money on the tokens

I think we should be able to get all the crystals with out asking. I hate having to ask for stuff most people need what they have to build there buildings. It should be easier to get everything you need to build.
I played farmville for a while and no one plays every day but the ones that did play and sent for a while than they stopped playing and you could not get anything to me that is the problem with sending. I love the game I play everyday I do not mine sending but a lot of people do not play every day and never send. need less to say I am not longer playing farmville got to expensive to buy everything you needed. . The fortune wheel gives coins, the lucky spin gives Flooz. As for earning 500k, it takes a lot. If you saved and saved and didnt upgrade, you might be able to, I think about all the 60k-80k purchases I've made, 7 of those and I'd have been able to purchase the expensive whatever. |

The point is that this is a social game. It's there to encourage having friends. I have a handful and now have all the crystals I need. It is just a part of the game. Asking for crystals is nothing like asking for other items that need to be built. After you play for a few days, you'll have an abundance of crystals, they are easy to come by.

*More villagers and/or visitors in the hotel = more people spending money. *Combos and other means that increase your revenue percentage mean more coins before you need to restock a shop. *The Toy Shop gives out balloons you can pop for 40 coins if they're in a villager's hand, 100 coins if you wait until they go home and let go before popping. *Play your minigames as often as possible. *I've seen a couple friends' villages where they had multiple Bus Stops. That plus Fiesta mode likely equals goldmine. |
