Default Another Castle - a rouguelike / platformer hybrid

Oh Noes! Your girlfriend / fire sword / ham and cheese sandwich is in Another Castle!

Another Castle combines classic platforming gameplay with the randomness of a rouguelike. You play as Andy, a kid who's looking for a random item, whether it be a kick ass magical sword, a wizard hat, or royalty. To find the item you must run, jump, and fight your way through a randomly generated castle. When you beat the game, you sadly won't get the item, as it's always in another castle. Instead, the item is now unlocked and can be found in future playthroughs of the game.

This looks really good!

Is it like Kid Vector? Looking forward to the free web version.

It uses a lot of the same codebase as Kid Vector, as well as Haunted Hallway, so the platforming will feel the similar. This is going to be a much larger game, with all of the levels being randomly generated.

I really enjoyed Kid Vector (I haven't finished all the levels yet though), so I will most probably get this game.

Can you tell us when the web demo will be released?

I trying to get the first web prototype out within a week or two, but It'll be pretty barebones. From there I'll be adding content to the prototype and eventually alpha and beta. I'm shooting for the final release of the game on iOS to be around the end of 2013.

So your going to be releasing a web alpha/beta version of the game via a website, and are going to update that version throughout next year?

It is... isnt it?

The premise alone is awesome. And knowing that this will have Kid Vector's functionality, this is going to be instabuy. And the Random levels will make this a total must-have.
