When I started work on the game, I always saw more complaints about on screen controls than positive comments. Personally, I hate having my thumbs on the screen. If you fall to the ground on either the left or right side of the screen, you got your thumbs in the way and so it would be a bit frustrating to get back up. Still, no reason that the player can't choose control style for themselves. I'll consider this. It certainly works well for SCB.

Thanks for YE93JRP9XHNR.

It really is a Simple Arcade game where this beautiful trailer
is sometimes longer then the gameplay itself.
Cute timewaister while waiting for the bus or so.
Tilt controls work well and here is def no need for buttons
or a d-pad, imho.
No pause button, no tilt-screen, no gamecenter...
And yes, please, the trailer needs to be in the game.

Thank you for the code and good luck dear Devs.
I'll think about putting the trailer in the game. It's a good idea. I did have a pixelated intro in the game originally, but it actually would have had to take up to 2 minutes just for the player to read enough text to get the gist of what was going on. So it was annoying just to watch the original intro. This trailer that Brainforce made for us was more kick ass than we expected. I'd say it definitely deserves to be in the game.

Also, Sanuku, did you make that gameplay trailer? That's awesome.

It's a highscore game but the only highscores are local. Both Bitless and Mikey Shorts to name 2 recent games have great high score tables. Tilt is okay which is odd for me. It put me in mind of an old 80's classic called 'Dropzone' which if you can make this more like willl get my approval. Good luck though. I like the style, the story and the humour. See McPixel and Quiet, Please for 2 old style very funny games recently this week too. Bitless, Mikey Shorts and Quiet Please are all 69p and these all have a bit more game to them in my view.
We'll take a look at your suggestions for sure. I'm glad you like the humour and story. The intention of course was campy ridiculousness, but of course, not overboard. Also, thank you for the critique and for buying our game.

Thank you everyone for trying it out and your feedback. It's very greatly appreciated.

I'd say we did good for our very first game and getting our feet wet. We're still learning of course.

thx for considering. tilting works really good on the iphone, but tilting the pad is, well, a pain in the... belly ;)

again, unique and funny pixel-arcade (you can't have enough of that) and well worth a buck... goes and stays in my arcade folder

ps: this game also cries for icade support :)

Also would love the screen to flip to whatever way I'm holding my phone. Just always annoys when this doesn't happen.

Well, I considered it. This will be added in in the next update. Which should be within the next few weeks. I'll take a look at the icade api. Again, something I hadn't thought about. :P

This too will be added in the update.

Since, this reply is bringing the topic back to the first page:

(To the forum moderators, I hope this is acceptable. I'm not trying to purposely bump the topic back to the first page, but I wanted reply to the above comments, and since it's back at the front, may as well give out a few more codes. If this is unacceptable practice, then I apologize and it won't happen again.)

To those who purchased our game. Thank you.
