OK, HOW DID THIS END UP SO BURIED?!?
Wow! For everyone looking for that "Settlers" iOS fix this game is IT! Great and deep simulation title, super fun - lots of game modes, and an open endless "Sandbox" mode. Crazy fun. I have been hoping for a better Settlers game on iOS for a while. This game picks up the slack perfectly. Theres a Premium version with no ads, and a free version to try it out. You can get rid of the ads for .99, which i would gladly pay for a title like this. This is going to be my go-to game for my village building sim fix for a looong time. Support them so we can see updates! One thing I would like is better crispness with the graphics. They can be a little fuzzy around the edges, maybe just my iPod touch, but I would like to see a higher retina quality. That said, the gameplay alone more than makes up for that gripe. Deep, complex, resource management, tons of buildings and upgrades! so excited! THANK YOU! |

Omg- this could be what I've been waiting for.
Please don't crush my hopes and tell me that this is a freemium type game where you have to sit and wait for energy to reload |

Low bandwidth Version | Pop Up ...do you wanna try it out on your own since there is an Free Build with Ads in it. Before someone start asking: The Recording was created with the Premium Build so that`s why you don`t see any Ads. |

The game runs pretty fast, with default building build rates around a minute or two, plus time taken for workers to travel to the construction site. An alternate way of describing it would be a freemium game running on crack. There's a 5x speed option that can be activated for a 60 real-world seconds. The resources is standard production chain affair, nefariously bottlenecked in freemium games to choke a player's progress. In this game, non of the production resources can be bought by money. The sole premium currency 'prestige points' is used to unlock additional endless maps and challenges, instantly build/complete a building, or replenish the time compression ability. Also, a small but sizable amount of prestige is earned in EVERY task/quest in complete. Blasphemy! I don't think the developer wants to make money. I'm not going to bother making 'if you like ___ then get this' comments. This game is a freemium killer. |

Love the free app. What is the difference between the free and the premium app? Is it only the adds and the extra prestige?

I'm having problems getting the tavern satisfaction above 50 in some levels - I've built a second tavern, and it went to 55 for a bit, but then it dropped back to 50. Can anyone help?

I played Townsmen for a few minutes and I must say I'm really happy with it. The graphics are really sweet, the music is consistent to the era and the feel of the game and the help given at the beginning is just what I need to move on. I'll be playing a lot more, congratulations to the devs!

Has anyone played this enough to help me with my question re: the tavern?

I've found out that having multiple taverns and vineyards so that there is enough grape juice can get you to 100%. The more townspeople you have the more production you need. Hope that helps!
