"Mars Base is a 3D building strategy game powered by Unreal Engine 3! Construct the first outpost for humanity on Mars and give your colonists a new home. The game is easy to understand but complex enough to make everyone's Base unique!" Descriptions are quite boring so here is a short teaser video: iTunes Link: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mars-base/id549019827?ls=1&mt=8 Promo Codes: TLAMPJ7YA96H 7L9NWP7EYX3K FJYXXWHPNLME HLLYPAXPTXRT 3FTEKM4WPA6P Have fun with the game!
The Game is like you said easy and complex but things I could suggest is to fix the control movement cause it's hard to maneuver around to the point that I almost quit the game without trying to see how good your game is. Other things is what happen when the player run out of space i dont see any other way to built another base around we get stuck and nothing else to do? I would like to see a map editor to make the game more entertaining for players like me. Thanks again for sharing the codes
Thanks for your feedback. If you find the controls confusing in the default setting try to restart your device and the game. Then touch the invert camera button and see if that helps? The goal of the game is to get as many colonists as possible. After all buildings are built you can still use upgrades to reach that goal. Having said that there is not much of an *end game* at all. I played around with some ideas I had for that but all were waaaay too complicated to implement within the 4 month development timelimit.
Hi, I am loving your game but may I suggest that for future updates if possible to have the zoom option do bird eye view so we can see the whole terrain and still moving around is cumbersome, include as well an option to remove buildings. I could see great things for this game with time and improvements.
It's nice to hear you love Mars Base. The zoom levels are the way they are due to performance reasons. As the frame rates in the release build seem to be higher than during testing the zoom levels could potentially be increased a bit. During the testing phase of the game there was an option to remove buildings. However this made the testers feel that it's quite meaningless what they built in the first place so it was removed.
I will make a new thread next week along the lines of *first replies get promo codes* so that should solve that problem.
It has been a month since the last updates here so time for another giveaway: Promo Codes: JFHTEX63MJ73 HPH4E4J3ARNR 9J76F7XHTEYR
