Looked great. Gave it a shot, and found it was repetitive and asked for additional purchases for lives. Sorry, you lost me.

Maybe the IAP for lives is like the IAP for lives in Ovenbreak which is unnecessary, but makes the game more forgiving? The repetitiveness concerns me though. I loved EnbornX so i want to give this a try.

Thx for everyone replied.
Here give me a chance to explain how the charges work.

The life actually not necessary. We put it there just in case some player need a little more assistance (and 5 lifes per minimum purchase we can do on AppStore). 1 life is given for every new game. Killing monster have a chance to get extra full hp recovery with use automatically. Just treat it as an extra life.

And the HP recovery and be MAKE with ingame coins. Futhermore, there are skill that help player product more ingame coins. All the thing you have to do is progress the game deeper to find out.

There are $3 dollars you must pay for us to unlock Episode 1 content. We are kindly let player try the game about 15mins for FREE before making any purchase.
Clearly, it hard for us to make the game FREE all the way. We are a small Team and not funded by ANY.

It is difficult to speak out all of this in the game description. People just run alway before download if they see any IAP there.

We have already concerning any negative feedback that may made by implementing the IAP this way. But we just don't want to go the Freemium mode. If you agree, let's give us a vote Post a review for us.

Video looks interesting, but the main character's animation... it looks... slippery.

The slightly "wrong" animation doesn't bother me - I can live with dodgy animation (though something about it just doesn't feel right). But his shoes appear to be made of ice, wrapped in banana peels, and coated in oil, and that is particularly jarring.

I can't imagine being able to get past the way he slides around the place as he walks.

Pity, as the game itself looks decent enough, and the graphics are lovely.

It is castlevania. I've grinded a bit on the free areas and I am really thinkin about unlocking the first chapter, but i have to work for now but i am most likely going to get it.

Initial impressions for me are as follows:

It has the Castlevania addictiveness that i cant explain, but it lets me get into the game mindlessly, totally just focused on the game and nothing else. The graphics remind me of PS1 and early PS2 3D games and they bring me back some good nostalgic feel, even though the animations dont look too smooth.

The controls are responsive, but the character seems a little stiff with his animations, and controlling jumps is a little limiting.

But these seem pretty minor to me as this game looks to be big later on. Cant wait to play the first chapter and see what i can get from it.

EDIT: Just want to add that i am getting ingame coins, but dont know what they are there for yet. So here's to hoping there's more upgrades and/or equips along the way that are easier to find than boss loots.
