I think the H.A.T.Z system is a reference to the V.A.T.S system from Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas.

But would there be anyway in the achievements for adding percentages so I know how close I am for earning the achievement defeating 50 he imps? Or defeating anything for that matter

You can always check the stats page. Every achievement-related stat (along with a ridiculous number of other stats) is listed there.

What exactly is "Jabbing" and what is "Dash Punching" ?

There's not a big difference between the two anymore. Dash punching used to be tapping the right thumb punch slowly and steadily. Jabbing used to be tapping the right thumb punch really fast. The difference was that jabs slowed you down, dash punches made you faster.

That was kind of confusing, so in the first update we just made both right-thumb punches speed you up.

There's still a difference I believe in that jabs won't trigger Explosive fist for instance.
