App description: "Crashsite" is a Third Person Shooter with a "UFO: Enemy Unknown" touch.

As an operative of a private military contractor of the Usa : "Daimonion" you investigate mysterious alien activity, that takes place around a multidimensional object - "the whirlpool", that exploded into existence presumably after an accident in a secret lab somewhere in Northern America.

At the beginning, invaders that break into our world, have significant problems adjusting. Their ships seem to just crash by themselves( left to be reverse engineered ). But they start to pose a bigger threat as the game progresses.

Extraterrestrials invade, destroy cities and "format" the terrain to make it suitable for further colonization. Preventing them from progression is a Crew of mercenaries commanded by a feisty heroine: Eez, aided by a nifty arsenal of spaceships, and weapons, also expandable by DLC.

The game is open ended. It is you who decide where we want to fly in a ship of your choice, what sites to investigate, which enemy ships to fight, and what powerups to unlock.

The game plays different every time, offering a versatile, interesting experience, that fans of action-shooters yarning for more depth, are sure to find totally satisfying and unique.

Where is this game free? Appshopper shows free, TA showed free, US iTunes... not so much.

DBC

I give up.

if you dont mind clunky games that feel a little rough the concept is pretty cool. You fly around to different alien crash sites and collect artifacts that are used to make alien weapons and new ships and stuff. Plus president Obama is in it.

I think it's worth $4 but hard to say how far you can get or if there's some kind of paywall.

I'm on the fence about this one. I really liked the screens and even the gameplay videos (altough I'm not a big fan of those dual stick controls - I prefer split screens controls, but doesent matterhat much). Then others say that controls suck and the game crashed and is buggy. I'm not ready to pay 4$ if I won't like the game and delete it after 5 minutes like some did. I'm also interested in the story, it must be pretty deep...

And in which country is it free? Not in US apparently...

I said I deleted it but I lied. I went back and still playing now.
Hard to say about the story but there are npc characters to talk to.
So far its aliens taken over the world and you are tasked with recovering alien technology there are weapons that are not fully understood yet.

Overall pretty good. I dont like dual stick either but gameplay is slow and the touch region is wide so I havent had a problem with the control.
It only crashed so far when I try to skip the intro video.

1. control scheme EXACTLY like the one in shadowgun.
2. fix the character animation.
3. remove the cover point, just make it invisible like in shadowgun.
4. increase the enemy health bar.
5. dodge ability
6. increase the amount of enemy's firing

thats all i ask for the 1st update and there you have my $4. and many more from others
i dont think it needs to be like Shadowgun. It doesn't need to be perfect. It sort of has a retro charm almost feels like a PS2 game. I kinda like that.

the enemies do get harder on the higher difficulty. That trailer is played on easy. One thing i like about this game is the freedom to fly the ship around the overworld map and explore different environments.

Because of the retro style, this game is a travel back to the school times
