Not yet. The game is all multiplayer, like words with friends, hero academy, etc.

How oppressive is the IAP?

There is no virtual currency. So everything that you buy you get it forever.
You now get one map for free (World map) and 2 factions for free (Americans and Germans). If you get tired of playing those things then you can get another faction or map. Personally I hate greedy virtual currency IAP. Although I greatly appreciate if you ever buy something as it helps me pay for server fees and recoup development costs. Note: Ads are only shown to people that have never purchased anything as a way to get money for server costs. |

Looks appealing from the screen-shots anyway. Seems to have some sort of hybrid risk/Axis and Allies vibe.
Will try tonight. |

Thanks for the 15 minute video Sanuku!
As you can see, it is a game you will play in 2-4 minute bursts. You make your moves from all your games. Then you go and do something else and get notified when it is your turn again. NOTE: Specially good for bathroom breaks! |

Disappointed that this is really just a risk variant. Dominion already does asynch risk very very well. Granted, Crazy Generals looks a little better, at least to me, but so far its not working perfectly . . . I cant start my turns without using the home button to exit the app...i.e., if I follow the notification, I cant figure out how to move.
If you dont have Dominion, this is free and Dominion isnt. If you do have Dominion...well, this is still free, cant go to wrong. |

I will look into why you can't start your turns. Do you leave the game inside the match or at the main menu screen? In respect to risk variant: You use troops like in risk. But instead of earning cards you earn money. That money can be used for extra troops, air attacks, nuclear bombs, v2 rockets, blitz, forced peace treaties, gold mines, troop factories, radars, etc. Deciding how to use the money you gain instead of the classic "trade cards for more troops" is what we like about Crazy Generals. |
