I see that the price is $9.99... Even if it was $29.99
it's going to be an instant buy.. even though there are some IAP's for it. Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition for iPad contains the following enhancements: •New Adventure: The Black Pits •New Character: Dorn Il-Khan as an in-app purchase •New Character: Neera the Wild Mage as an in-app purchase •New Character: Rasaad yn Bashir •New Player Voice sets as an in-app purchase •New Player Portraits as an in-app purchase •Gamecenter Support allows you to keep track of your friends and invite them to play with you |

I think it's a wise decision. The complete original game with the original expansion pack alone will provide between 80-100 hours of gameplay, and that's conservative. With new content DLC's it'll jump with around 20-30 hours of gameplay. A great offer IMO.. ![]() I'm gonna buy the whole package on release day for my iPad, and have already pre-ordered the game for my pc. Only 15 days to go...

So all the new content is IAP? I guess it's no different than buying an expansion pack, as long as the prices are reasonable. Don't see myself buying new voices or portraits for more than a buck or two.
Just getting a quality port alone is certainly worth $10. Edit: Paying attention, I now see that one character and the adventure are included in the price of admission. I might be willing to pay for the rest as a "tip" for a job well done. |

Didn't you mean we're paying a total of 19.95?

Yeah, LCDDreams is right. It'll be $19.95 for the original game (with expansion pack), and new content (voice packs, new characters, portraits etc.). |

Yes, thank you, 19.95, not 29.95... *sigh* Don't post right before bed....

Anyway, I'm not complaining. This means I get to pick and choose which expanded features I really want (can't wait to try the wild mage). |

Here's a new and interesting interview with Trent Oster, President of Beamdog:
http://www.shacknews.com/article/766...classic-better Lots of insight into the development of Baldur's Gate: EE. Unfortunately no new screenshots, but a promise of new promotional material coming soon. Yay.
