Endless mode is in the game, yes; it's a single-screen endless-wave type affair. Unfortunately, there really isn't much actual game here, especially if you're coming in expecting something along the lines of LoE, Punch Quest, or Double Dragon.

This game has: five environments each with four largely cut-and-paste levels; nothing to unlock; nothing to collect; a lifeless, almost entirely non-interactive environment; a bog-standard collection of basic enemies; a combat system that involves nothing more complex or interesting than repetitive mashing of a single "attack" button; a handful of melee weapons that only differ cosmetically; unresponsive fixed pads with too-small hitboxes; and on a 4th-gen iPod Touch, the game consistently crashes midway through every second level played (regardless of whether I moved on or restarted the same level, halfway through the second level played, the game crashed every single time - fortunately, the game saves after every level completed).

If you've played the game for 20 seconds, or even just watched a gameplay video for that long, you've pretty much already seen all the game has to offer, which is a letdown considering the other titles to which Ravenous has been attached. In all honesty, you're better off picking up Final Fight, Simpsons Arcade, or any one of the other games that served as inspiration for this wafer-thin offering.

It's a great retro style graphic version of beat em ups like Double Dragon/Renegade and other classics

Can't wait to get it. Great low file size as well

I appreciated Appletini's impressions here. Detailed and well articulated. Probably spot-on, but what he stated was actually some of the beauty of the genre and what attracts me to this one. The retro-styled goodness of beat 'em-ups from the past. (But it's gotta be good.)
