Hi guys, The wife can't get enough of this game - it has like 800 levels and she's almost done them all. http://appshopper.com/games/great-solitaire-hd Can you recommend any other solitaire-like games with levels you can finish? Thanks.
Its not exactly the same principle of game, but me and my girlfriend loves Fairway Solitaire http://appshopper.com/games/fairway-solitaire-hd-big-fish-games
Yeah it's a great game - she's also played Ski Solitaire, Avalon Legends Solitaire and Faerie Solitaire.... Looking for a normal Solitaire game but with levels to complete =) Thanks though.
Don't forget my personal fave, Solitaire Kingdom! Also, please forgive me, but what is meant by 10,000 sets in Great Solitaire? Is it just the concept of having some 800 deals pre-scripted so you can play some exact same deal over and over?
I really loved this game on PC but feel this iOS version feels a little IAP laden (nothing wrong with IAPs in general, just annoying when everything is a separate IAP purchase).
I downloaded the free game and upgraded to full with IAP. Since buying the game, I play it most days, and there's no need for IAP purchases. Maybe your experience was based on the free version only?
I guess I think I really had issue with how, for $1 I can restock my bag with all clubs...but, yeah, no need to go there. I think it bugs me so deeply as the ORIGINAL Fairway Solitaire PC game (this game is an iOS port of that game's sequel) was one of my all time favorite games ever!
Ahhh.. Yes. You can restock the clubs using money earned in-game too. I made a decision not to buy clubs, only to use the one's I acquired by playing. Of course, Fairway is free to try, so there's no cost if the OP's partner wants to take a peek.
I just grabbed Avalon Legends Solitaire, a cute fantasy based deal a lot like Fairway but without all of the IAPs other than the $3 to unlock the full version. EDIT: Actually, that is not entirely true. There are a number of power-ups that, while purchaseable in game credits, can be gotten much quicker with the ol' IAP gold.
How about a game where you play solitaire (variation), compete in tournaments and win prizes? if this sounds like it may interest you check "Aladdin Solitaire Tournament" which was recently released: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id1102931447
