Which FPS Series do you prefer, and why?

As the title states... which FPS Series do you prefer, and why?

Do you enjoy Call of Duty's fast-paced, run-and-gun action or Battlefield's more sprawled-out, tactical and squad-based play?

My favourites were actually Unreal Tournament and the old Novalogic Delta Force games. guess I still have a retro taste when it comes to FPS games.

I play CoD games with friends, but gotta pick "modern warfare on iOS", because I own that, but not any of CoD games

How could you forget Metroid Prime? Best single player FPS ever hands down, and Metroid Prime Hunters' online was the best Nintendo DS online experience, even better than MK's.
