Not true, unfortunately.

This is me using a DualShock 3 via Bluetooth on Ice Cream Sandwich, on a Galaxy S2. I'm desperately searching for a way to make this happen on my iPad 3, and I'm coming up shorter than short. I mean, I can play a version of SoulCalibur from the App Store that is damn near identical to the Dreamcast original, but I am forced to play it through a touch screen method of control, and I am not happy about this fact. I'd love nothing more than to be able to map a controller to the device, but it seems that Apple isn't too keen on that. I got my BT address, mapped the controller with the same address, but it needs a device pin, and it's not letting me pair it to the device. I could come up with a hundred reasons why, but the fact that Android makes it so simple to do this where iOS does not is smacking of a wasted opportunity for an obvious need to be filled.
