We are planning on releasing mid December - either December 13th or December 20th.

Apple shuts down all of the App Store rankings starting December 21st. We are thinking that it might make sense to wait until the 20th to release so we stay higher on the recently released list (and the rankings list if it gets that high). On the other hand, if we release on the 13th we have a chance of being featured by Apple during the downtime. However, there is obviously no guarantee of being featured so I think we are currently leaning towards the 20th.

Here is screenshot that I mentioned in our recent feedback:

First screenshots shows the original picture of 'Extra', after I tap into the 'Extra' and tap 'Back' button, it shows me 'Play' picture (2nd screenshot).

Third and fourth screenshots show my game center leaderboard is missing everytime I install a new build and my game center leaderboard is there again after I played any level.

Last 2 screenshots: Displayed incorrect picture for Terminal B, that picture actually is from Terminal A.

@DannyTheElite -

Sure! We are going to make one more build either today or tomorrow and we'd love to find any last minute bugs. You can sign up at http://tflig.ht/yHGT0g.

@williamsyee -

Thanks for all of the feedback. The suitcase matching up with the wrong picture has been fixed, and I think the Game Center leaderboard problem is because I cleared out the data at a couple of different points to test some things

I'd like to thank all of our beta testers again - we really appreciate the feedback.

Terminal Escape has been approved by Apple, and we're set to go live on Thursday, January 17!

The first post has been updated with the description and screenshots that will appear on the App Store, along with this new trailer:

I just sent promo codes to the beta testers who provided us with feedback during the beta - let me know if I missed anybody.

As a reminder, Terminal Escape is set to go live this Thursday!

Thanks Platyrrhine.

Terminal Escape is set to be released in just over a day, and before it is released I’d like to go through all of the features that we’ve packed into this game.

One very unique feature to iOS that we’ve built into Terminal Escape is the daily challenge system. We got the idea from the Halo series, and I have yet to see another iOS game that has this feature. Every day there will be two challenges that are waiting to be completed for that day. You have the time within the current day to complete those challenges. The earlier you start playing in the day the more likely you are to complete the challenge. Example challenges include “Avoid 20 obstacles within a single level” and “Beat your high score on 7 levels”. One of my favorites is “Collide with 100 obstacles”. When you complete the challenge, you’ll get some coins as a reward.

Looking at the game play, I like to think that it belongs in the “finite stander” genre. The version launching on the App Store has 60 levels across 4 different terminals. The levels do get harder as you go along – we introduce new obstacles in addition to having a longer track (therefore more room for you to mess up). All in all, there are a total of 16 different obstacle types. Some of the obstacles include:

Rotating X – similar to a windmill, it will rotate to try to hit you:

Fan – the breeze will slide you in one direction or another:

Speed Zone – look at that motion blur:

Full Body Scanner – collide with the ray and it’s game over:

The levels start out pretty basic, with the second level in Terminal A being very spread out:
