Suggestions for marketing a rewarding web app.

Hi guys,

We are just launching a web app for iOS devices (best for iPod and iPhone). Name is appbounty.net(working on safari; it is not in the APP Store); the idea is simple, users get rewarded with international gift cards when downloading our sponsored apps.

I was wondering what is, in your opinion, the best way of marketing this web app. Search? Display? Reviews? PR? Every suggestion is more than welcome.

You can also test it and give me a feedback. That d be highly appreciated

Thanks a lot for your help!

(That is the icon).

P.s. I was wondering if I could also present the app here in some areas of the forum!

You need to be careful about promoting this too much since it clearly violates Apple's recently updated promotion rules.

Especially the following line that fits perfectly to what you are doing:
Quote:
iPad, iPhone and the iPhone Gift Card may not be used in third-party promotions.
All promotions require Apple approval and I don't think your service would make it through their approval process, so you better be careful since you are on thin ice, legally.

Device enrollment may be turning off potential downloaders. I wouldn't do that even if it says it won't modify the device config.

Get more interesting apps on there as well or you'll run into the hen and egg problem.

thanks for the feedback Enrollment is necessary because the app needs to retrieve the UID to avoid scams and grant credits to users.

We are working on adding new apps!

Other feedbacks? What about marketing channels?
