I recommend this wholeheartedly. While I haven't played it on ios, I've had it for years on PSN along with the dlc extra levels, and, IMO, it's one of the best arkanoid style games I've played...ever. Personally, while I'de LOVE to play it on ios, I don't think I can justify a purchase since I've beaten the game REPEATEDLY on my PS3.

YES!!!!!

I have been waiting for this one for a few years now!
(Alawar published older games in the series that were not as good)

Thanks so much for porting this one!

I would love to see some others on my old wishlist such as:

Orbz (old PC Garagegames game)
Tiqal (I hope Microsoft doesn't have this locked out of possibility)
Motion X Poker for iPad
Bomb Squad
Bang Bang Racing

The list goes on and on...

I really enjoyed this on the PS3 and after playing a level of the IOS Lite version, it seems like an excellent port. The initial PS3 version came with about 50 levels and there were at least 2 extra packs of levels I recall released as DLC. Does anyone know if the level packs will be available on IOS?

Edit: On re-reading the first post, I noticed it states that "more levels coming soon", so that answers my question.

Dang. That was quick. I purchased full price this morning as well.

Don't feel too bad about it though. This is a great game.

Hey devs, a few things to report:
1. There is a typo in the loading screen. One of the hints has skull spelled wrong (scull).

2. Game lags every time I unlock an achievement mid game. It throws my game off.

The game is okay, it runs a little clunky on the iPad 3 but not terribly. From the raving of a few here I was expecting a better game overall, it is kinda... I dunno, drab? There isn't a whole lot of meat on the bone. Too bad, because the iPad really needs more arcadey games like this. I definitely would have enjoyed it a little more if it had silky smooth framerate...

Yeah shame but i still think the full price i paid for the game is well worth it. Played it a fair bit last night, really enjoying it, granted it can feel a 'bit' samey after a while but to be honest most Arkanoid games do.

Think its still well worth it, best take on an Arkanoid game i've seen in ages.

The fyn for me lies in the 3d-ness...when you get good, and discover the environmental effects (such as setting off a cannonball chain) and where the powerups spawn, you need to start shooting behind the playfield to cause it to richochet across the top...oh, and it starts out easy, and furthermore, the Pirate themed levels are the worst of the bunch.
