Tim, who just got out of the shower, has been abducted by alien robots from outer space. Made prisoner, far from home, he relies on you and on his towel to help him escape... and to save our world from an impending wipeout.

Towel Tim is a platform/action game, relying on the codes and challenge of the classics, with some novelties, thanks to the multitouch screens technology. Virtual buttons and joysticks, online scores, finger tip control over the camera are added to the more common controls of platformers.

The game offers 32 levels with an increasing difficulty. Two additional play modes, "Run" and "Jump" ensure unlimited fun. Towel Tim is an oldschool look-alike, wich requires few minutes to break its learning curve, but then, grant you with a thrilling freedom of movement.
Towel Tim includes absolutely no commercials, and all its future DLC will be free of charge.

Just watched the trailer, looks great. Quite different from most platform games out there, also love the controls

Right i should be working but lets have a quick go...

Nice animation to start the game. Then a 'bench test', anyway chose my controls, can have a joystick in the corner or buttons.

You can select 'Play jump' (which seemed tilt ?) or Play Run.

I clicked on Play Levels and this seems to be the main game. The writings very small on the pause menu, ideally that could be larger

As for the game, very nice animations, theres a jump button and a 'fire' which is basically the kid flicking his towel forward ! To go up a ladder you lean your gadget forward (bit different), would prefer to just press jump to climb up the ladders. If you keep your finger on 'right' the character starts to run faster after a few seconds which is a nice touch.

Actually if you use the joystick (as its left/right/up/down) you dont have to tilt at a ladder so i'll use that than the standard left/right (as you use tilt to climb ladders).

Looking at the trailer theres some nice 'physics' puzzles, eg get a large box to fall on a bit of wood to catapult yourself. At the end of level 1 i was in a 'weird' dark room i could hardly see, thought it was a bug at first. Quit and then started level 2 and that was back to normal. Bizarre.

Accidentally chose 'quit game' from the menu and yep it does what it says ! Quits the app ! I thought it might be back to the main menu.

The main menu looks a bit cluttered and some of the text could be made larger (on my ipod touch). But the actual platforming levels are very good, nice graphics and looking forward to playing the later levels.

I'm a huge fan of platformers so i will be playing this much more later. So far so good, few 'qwirks' above but nothing major. Nice looking game
