Well, let's see...
There's Pokemon, and then there's Pokemon, and lastly, we need Pokemon. Sorry, but Nintendo is a complete fail for not making a new Pokemon game built just for the iPhone and iPad. It's bloody perfectly suited to a touchscreen device! Would be beyond EPIC if Nintendo would finally swallow their pride and give us Pokemon. Heck, I'd pay $15.00 for a Pokemon app on my iPod... Aside from that, I could go for: Rollercoaster Tycoon, Zoo Tycoon, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (Yes!), A good RTS game from PC (heck, I really don't care which one), perhaps a Diablo, and... EDIT: I forgot to add all my N64 games that deserve a proper iOS port. Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, Battle Tanx: Global Assault, more that I can't think of right now. Me thinks any N64 game could actually be ported to iOS pretty easy, since graphics and technology have advanced so far since then. Last edited by iosappsrock; 11-29-2012 at 07:20 AM.. Reason: Edited because I wanted to add more... :) |

No, just no. Pokemon should never, ever be on iOS. Clones of it, sure, i would love to play them, but not the actual Pokemon. It would feel so horribly wrong.

Crash Bandicoot warped wouldn't be that hard to port, would it?

But I personally think Pokemon would fit perfectly on the iOS platform. The only thing that feels horribly wrong to me are the super cheesy IAP-ridden clones...Though if a good clone was made with the same level of polish as a real Pokemon game, I might bite. |

NINJA GAIDEN. I would kill for ninja gaiden 2 for the Xbox to make its way to the ios platform. Or for that case any other ninja gaiden game.

Anyway... I'd like to see a basic shooter where you have an open battle ground and you're free to just run around and kill. Not keen on MC as much as the path is all laid out for you which is boring and predictable. Something like Battlefield 1942 where you just run around and capture bases. It would be perfect for iOS as you need something cool, but not too deep, and it is well within small indie budgets. TriggerFist is pretty fun, but still lacks the awesome replay-ability. |
