I'm spending $350 on an ad for a week at Pocket Gamer myself. First time releasing a game on iOS and advertising too...should be interesting!

I agree with MarkFromBitmenStudios who mentioned, “Spend the money to localize your app keywords descriptions and screenshots.”

Otherwise, I think most things would be a waste of money. Personally, I haven’t had good experience with prMac. I did track how many clicks I got and I think for the pay release of $20 I got about 5 leads who signed up for the email form on my site. It did generate some traffic but not much. However, despite my previous experience with it, I’d still be interested to try it again with different apps.

I tried getting a banner ad at a German IOS site for Nuketastic Chickens (a free game) so far It has generated over 50k impressions, 25 click throughs, and 0 downloads from Germany and Austria. I think next time I release something I am going to try and pay to get a couple expedited reviews.
