We have submitted a new update with some fixes. Now the lookup of locations by name also allows turn by turn navigation and streetview.

We had a problem with the Sparkling Maps Lite launch, where the in-app purchase wasn't working correctly. That is why we pulled it off the store for now. Sparkling Maps 1.3 is still available.

Any future plans for more features like caching maps/ETA/Distance etc

Now that google has updated their own maps app, and done a good job, the demand for further 3rd party maps app has dwindled. But we still see possibilities to offer additional functionality and are looking into a further update.
