Left a review in the US app store as Jumpman475.

Aside from the generic "it's like Slenderman and Alan Wake had a baby" comments, all I can say is, you had better wear a diaper when you play this game - you're going to need all the protection you can get. The overall dark atmosphere, creepy audio design, great visuals, and fluid controls make The Woods a terrifying experience. If you want a good scare on the go, definitely grab this game. It's a steal at $0.99.

Thanks to all who have taken part. The USA competition will be closing in 24 hours so get your reviews in quick if you want to take part and have a chance to win.

Still need more Uk players, I think there are only four people in that competition at the moment.

reviewed as BillyJonLon on uk store:

Nice horror game but need to save the game progress.

The game is similar to the movie blair witch project. You use one finger on your left and the other one on the right to play this game. One finger is use to walk while the other is used to explore your surroundings. It is tough to find all the missing pages of the book as once you meet the ghost, you will be dead. I managed to find 3 pages of the book before I died. I wish there is an option for me to save my game progress so I can continue next time. Dying again and again isn't my wish. The background music is creepy and you can turn your reaction camera on to see your own frightened facial expression. I wish for more options for a map to see where I am in the game so I can locate the missing pages faster. I think the saving game progress button is needed here too.

A save button would make the game boring and much easier.

Lol no. Did not even pass the first chapter, but just saying a save feature would ruin the game.

Ok the USA competition is now closed. We shall post the winner in around 24 hours and send out the gift card code late on Monday.

The UK competition is still open as we have not quite reached 15 reviews but are close.

Thanks for taking part.
