Because it's still a brilliant game and not every dev goes the sellout route. Kudos to Semisecret for staying strong.

Canabalt update is out fixing an iOS 5 sound bug and adding some localization.
BUT they still didn't fix the graphical bug regarding the disappearing columns of smoke in the background, although Eric promised via email. That's downright lazy and I'm quite disappointed right now.

The info they put on the update page is "none". What's up with that?

C'mon! At least they got up off of the couch in their parents' garage long enough to fix the sound bug... AGAIN.

Getting these guys to fix their own bugs feels a bit like trying to get my kid to put out the trash every Monday; a constant battle.

Based on their haphazard support of the game, I wouldn't be surprised if the unchanging price has more to do with apathy than "staying strong."

Yep, this game is one of the better endless runners IMO. Even though it's so damn simple, it's also addicting >.>
