The tutorial needs improving. It is just a wall of text and dumps me into the game at the end of it. Pretty harsh for a casual game like this.

Then there are totally no hints when playing my first game and suddenly the CPU wins even though it doesn't have five in a row.

I agree the tutorial is not the best. It is always best to have a tutorial game, but I have seen worse.
Te game is just ... Well, right now after one game I am total lost.

Thanks for the feedback on the tutorial. We will look in to improving that in an update. Also if you click the question mark icon during the game it can give you a reminder of everything on the board.

One hint is to try another AI opponent. Vain for example can be easier to beat.

Played two games against easiest balanced AI and managed to win both, although I'm having a hard time getting around the strategy, since there are som many possibilities. It seems more like a tactical game for me, but maybe I'll pick up on the strategic element of it.

Very nice app though, even if the Tutorial is textbased. As suggested by others a playthrough would be better.

I may be be a noob but the 10-15 minute playtime stated by the info isn't by far enough for me. My first two games clocked in around 25 minutes each and then there was only one player thinking. Maybe when learning the strategics more, the playtime will speed up for me.

Bought it and what bad tutorial?! There must be something out there which can fix this, but I have my hands tied by all the MP games and the Carcassonne new expansion, Café International and...
