As of December of 2012, the contract with Electronic Arts is over and Thunder Game Works returns to its indie roots and retaking over the Trenches IP. The first step is reviving Trenches and bringing new and exciting updates to Trenches 2, including new campaigns.

Electronic Arts, being a large corporation, didn’t have the infrastructure for quick updates to respond to player feedback, so we opted to end the contract so that we could focus on quicker updates and communicate with the player community, which was previously managed by Electronic Arts.

And there will be a lot more news from us soon on some upcoming projects!

So yes, Trenches II is temporarily unavailable. We are doing what we can to make this right for the players. You will NOT need to pay again.

I think you guys can do an even better job without EA.
