Minigore help

Minigore is a cool game, but I have SO many questions about it:

1. Are the shotgun and grenade launcher the only weapons you get?

2. Do you get to unlock more areas and modes?

3. What are the stars for?

4. Why aren't any of these questions answered clearly in the game?

Any help would be appreciated.
