You are absolutely right. I guess I was rushing too much to release difficulty levels to appease some people who have been giving me a hard time saying that the game is greedy and designed to force people to pay and buy IAP to progress.
But you are absolutely correct, I will submit a quick update of the game to reward more coins for those playing in higher difficulty.

While I appreciate the ability to choose one's difficulty level, being able to do so at any point in the midst of your career with no pay-off to going at a higher risk/difficulty means that everybody will play it on the easiest difficulty to unlock everything and likely have little incentive to comeback and play it at the higher difficulty. Are there some separate stats or achievements tied to the chosen difficulty (which, again, being able to freely switch from match to match, would render even those achievements likely exploitable/meaningless)?
