We will also be adding in a few more bonus tracks in future updates and they will be bundled in the game for free.

Love it.....would like to see some sort of Game Centre integration. Like the music (and progression of music). Great Marvin Gaye song too. Will be having a proper playthrough this weekend when I can get my hands on my headphones. Game Centre and Universal would be great. Kraftwerk would be nice too.

We just added samples of all the original music on our website.
![]() http://digitalherogames.com/cowbell-hero/ The original music and bonus songs are a big feature of the game. You already know the commercial songs, and now you can listen to the original music as well. We are also working on getting the original soundtrack on iTunes. Yes, we are already working on it. All the iPad and iPad retina graphics have been created. We have to do a little more work for iPhone 5, but we will support them all.
Game Center is also something we are wanting to add in the future. |

I was interested in this game until I saw no iPhone 5 support. Why would I pay for black bars

Hey guys, I am working on an update to Cowbell Hero to come out early March. I would like to get some feedback on the current version especially on how the songs play. I am planning to tweak the note mappings on a few songs.
The update will add iPhone 5, iPad, and iPad retina support. There will also be some new bonus tracks added. If you are willing to give it a good play through and provide feedback I will give out some promo codes. Let me know if you want one. Thanks |

If this isn't getting the attention it deserves, it's most definitely because of the price. Then again...it's justifiable and already explained in this thread. If you're willing to look past the price, what you have here is pretty flawless in its current state.
Flawless is a pretty big word to just be throwing around, but really...there's not much (if anything) to complain aboout. The story mode takes a couple of hours to go through, there's 26 songs in total, the whole thing is joined together by cutscenes and convincing, cheesy (in the best way possible) voice acting, there's a metal god who quotes Chris Jericho, and the whole thing just comes off as a humorous labor of love, sans any bull IAP and purchasable power-ups. It's seriously a game for people who enjoy playing games. You know something? The game's bloody hard too! Seriously, for a game about cowbell...sheesh...there are some mindbogglingly hard parts here and there and I'm talking about easy mode. >_> You guys who loved playing through Through the Fire and Flame on Guitar Hero will probably love some of the bits and pieces here. I'm not sure if tweaking the note maps involves making the game easier somehow, but I think none of it's particularly unfair...just needs some practice. If you're keen on changing some of the note mappings, go ahead...but I think new content and a Universal update should be more of a priority right now. Nothing's broken...why fix it?
