Listing of Mobile Game Funding Programs & Partnerships

Hi All,

I've compiled a small but growing list so far of Mobile/Social Publishers and Developers who clearly promote and offer mobile game developers funding and or publishing partnerships. Was hoping if anyone knew of others that they could add to this list. I will update of course

Much appreciated.

Great guys!!

I am looking for funding of my Handbook of Tropical Medicine in order to pay for a game developer to produce mini game tutorials for lots of different diagnostic techniques, should be really fun and extremely innovative, so I am hoping it'll attract some money.

Do you guys know of any that specifically target educational apps?

Playing: We Rule, Plants vs. Zombies, AquaForest, Broken Sword

Let's bump this one up (maybe this thread could be sticky?). As I'm now gathering a list of mobile publishers for my game, I found a couple more companies that were missing from the list:

- Pocketgems http://www.pocketgems.com/
- Sega Alliance http://www.sega.com
- Forest Moon Games http://www.forestmoongames.com/
- Zynga http://www.zynga.com/

www.TapJoy.com has been known to assist with funding, very few strings attached. However it's best if you include their analytics in your already existing apps to show that you can get players to convert, and that it's worth their money to invest.

Also Activision and Flurry have a mobile publishing arm, they offer funding and publishing if you can pull off something that will meet their standards- https://s.activision.com/social/mobile.html

This post helped a lot. I'll help updating this list if I come across any new publishers.
