Ahhh great this is out, downloading now. The Android version got decent reviews. Dont mind if its like Rogue Squadron, that games not out on the app store so an alternative is great !

Hope the controls are okay (and an option to hopefully invert the axis).

I don't really like the controls. Touch is joystick based but you can't move it and tilt is just "okay". The game is also using sounds from starfox... What a complete lack of imagination. Gameloft's clone is superior in every way.

Had a quick go, has potential, if you use a bit of speed the ship seems to keep spinning all over the place. I'm glad the controls are set up how i want (eg you press up to dive, down to go up) but i'm sure some people wont be happy with that though !

Game looks good, need to give it a good play (but just started work), i'm dying for a new Rogue Squadron like game (Damn those old Rogue Squadron games would work so well on iOS ! Hopefully Disney might pull their finger out as Lucasarts were terrible with iOS games)

Actually watching that trailer theres a fair few different levels

Yay I played them all to death too, also a huge star wars nerd so the combination was perfect... Still need a sequel to rebel strike Lucasarts!

I wouldn't quite call The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition and Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge terrible. I would probably call them something on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Yeah apologies as those two are great (plus i have those games !). Just Lucasarts sit on a great back catalogue of games. Rogue Squadron and the sequel would work very well on iOS.

Even classics like Dark Forces would be great, love the old retro FPS games and instead games like Dark Forces gather dust in some bargain basement PC bin in shops for a dollar.

Just frustrating when companies sit on stuff like this, i'm sure 3rd party devs wouldnt be allowed to touch them. Instead we get that pit droid game and some terrible past Star Wars games.

If you look at the great games Lucasarts have and how many good ones were released to iOS its a very small proprotion.
