Default How are the "Hot New Games" chosen?
Is there an algorithm for picking the games which appear on the list of "Hot New Games"?

If so, can you explain how it works? I often wonder why certain games remain there week after week. Like "Hard Lines" I think it is called, only has 8 comments and hasn't changed in some time. Also that game "Feed Me Candy"... It has been on this list forever!

I'm just curious is all... I'm not trying to complain.

I'm curious about this too.

I used to think it is a mixed selection of staff picks and promotional ranking, but not so much anymore.

P.S. Hard Lines is a great game.

New games roll d6 and hit on a 3+ but then the app has a 2+ armor save.

What do you mean by promotional ranking? As in the guys pay TA to be featured there?

It's based on the discussion activity on the forums.

Sometimes, games can get "stuck" inadvertently. If you see an outlier, email us at support@toucharcade.com and we can look at it.

Feed Candy looks like it's one of those that is "stuck". We'll remove it.

How come very few games are listed anymore in the newest games (all) section?
