JohnHerman's comments:
Hi there, Paul Mitchell here, coder, artist and one of the designer of the iOS game Prawn Star.
I'm ex senior technical artist on the Real Racing series for Firemint / EA.

We're about to go Free-to-Play and would love some community feedback on our control system before we update.
It's currently a mash of buttons, hidden touch area's and swipes which we need to make more simple, less confusing and fun for the player.
There's a free version on the App Store (Prawn Star Free) so you won't have to spend your hard earned dollar.

I'm thinking all buttons, below is a screen shot of a re-worked version.

I've been involved in the development of a lot of games since my first, testing "The Hobbit" for the ZX spectrum in school holidays.
To have access now to all you avid gamers is a true advance in the process.

Thanking you all.

Paul Mitchell

Prawn Star: Fun Fact #1

Hi Paul Mitchell here, developer of Prawn Star for IOS

The original concept / design for our plucky shrimp Kevin was based on the look of a real Prawn. It still hurts my head the thought of animating all thiose legs.

Remember: Sometimes you have to fight for the right to be lunch.

Are you making the paid version F2P or expanding on the Free version to be Freemium?

Looking to make the paid version F2P, adding lots of achievements and leaderboards and of course great stuff to buy with your prawnies (coins)

my opinion

The game after each match ends is lovely!
The sausages are very purple (they should be more red).
The fact that the temperature rises and works as a means of time-pressure is really interesting.
It's made with Unity which I like a lot.
In all it's a very fun game with graphics that could be much better.

I love this game. I don't think grilling out will ever be the same for me again; I'll be lucky if nothing burns to a crisp for daydreaming about my food fist fighting!

Man, this made my day... funnier. I'm lolling of looking on the icon only. Funny as hell
