if your tired of waiting for this to release, FTL is on sale for 5 bucks on Steam.

just picked it up last night, and played it for 8 hours. I hope that it comes out for Ipad, cause with touchscreen it would be awesome. probally way better than this game, (if it ever releases)

Would be great for iPad too
You know they weren't even talking to you, right?

I'm thinking the Star Command devs are probably sick of hearing about FTL by now. They're not the ones making comparisons so just accept the fact this is a different game.

If this never comes out or never works right, then it's not a game at all, just a game concept.

The opposite for me - I don't think it will have any bugs at all, they seem determined to iron them out!

I am becoming a bit despondent over the game - continued delays and the such. I'll still buy the game for sure, but I confess some shine has left for me, as the excitement has turned to frustration.

You know how 13 year olds across the western world started whining when Rockstar told us GTA V was coming in September? Similar story here.

Who on earth would let their 13 year olds play GTA?

This is an excerpt from the latest kickstarter update :
"Yes, we suck. Happy?

The game, however, does not. We apologize about the lack of updates. The truth is that there isn't a lot to update about. We're just bug squashing and polishing. We haven't added a single feature since early January and right now we are in closed beta.

We have about 50 people playing the game around the clock right now and things look great. The ONLY device we are getting crashes on is the iPod Touch 4th gen - It only has 256 megs of memory - this might not be a plausible device… (cause it runs retina with this shitty memory level) We are working on that."
