This has gone free. I haven't played Puzzle Dragons so I can't really judge this one. There's definitely IAP and social stuff in here.

I didn't have any special knowledge which told me it woukd be free today; just my experience with what should obvously be free games at release. Either they hope to make a few quick bucks or, more likely, the publishers count on people picking up on the price drop and downloading their app, thinking they're getting a freebie.

As others have said, this game is a copy of Puzzle and Dragons (PAD), but it's a good clone with several nice improvements over PAD. Here's a few I have noted:
1. Multiple team setups as you rise in rank (I really wish PAD had this)
2. The friend list starts at 50
3. The UI in several instances is more streamlined
4. Monster ability descriptions actually describe the bonuses given
5. Monster abilities skill up just by using the monster
6. The level up process has a really nice preview. No more looking up the xp values and calculating them.
7. Improved graphics and design (although I still prefer the monster artwork in PAD)

In summary, yes this is a very close clone of PAD, but so far it seems to be a good clone . I like these types of games so I'm having fun playing both.

How do I get a perfect when leveling up? I've only had it once but not sure what I did..
