Interesting indeed! Though $2 may be much to ask for an unproven adventure game...

![]() Either way, I've TOFTT. Love the artwork (Retina iPad perhaps? We'll see), seems like there are no IAPs, first release by this developer and it's got full voice acting. I don't know why, but I'm getting the same feeling I got when I first saw screens for Dungeon of the Damned. I'll post impressions once I spend time with the game, but hopefully, hopefully it turns out great. *crosses fingers*

Oh man, there's potential here...but in the current state it's in, I don't know if I can recommend the game or not.
It's certainly not a big budget production, and that's quite charming about it, but the game's buggy. You'll die, to be greeted with a GAME OVER screen that can't be skipped, then the developer's logo, title screen, and back to where you died. What's the problem? For some reason there are instances where that loops over and over again 3 or 4 times. Considering how long it takes to restart, it's wearing out my patience. The touch controls can be a little iffy too...seems like somethings weighing down my items as I try and drag them across the screen to use. Also, the interface is a little clunky. Why am I forced to choose the "Move" button again when going from one room to another? Other than that, the artwork's lovely, the music is awesome, even though I'm THIS close to deleting the game, I'm trying to stick with it because it's compelling, the voicework's pretty decent. Ugh, I dunno guys...proceed with caution I guess. I'd love to have the developers chime in, because it's a shame...there really is potential with this one. |

I love first time indie releases! But damn... It looks like your TOFTT didn't really pan out for the best. Hmm. Perhaps the dev will iron out bugs wit a quick patch? One can only hope. Last edited by Psiufoxx; 02-03-2013 at 03:57 AM.. |

Thing is, these guys successfully funded this project off a Kickstarter. Their goal? $985. That's crazy! I want this to do well and the issues I brought up are so damn minor. EDIT: Oh, and Save & Exit basically kills the app. Android feature I believe. Last edited by metalcasket; 02-03-2013 at 04:21 AM.. |

Hi, This is Kevin the main developer for Castle Dracula. This is our first game and as you posted we did not have a very big budget. Im glad you enjoy a lot of things about the game.
We have been taking this day to day and have been updating to iron out the bugs and have added features that people have suggested. So we love the feedback! It helps see and fix things. We hope that all these issues will be fixed and will help us push out a great game and give us some great experience for the next game. |
