This would be great.

A shame this didn't get a TA review. I just found it after a long, long hunt for a decent city builder, and Townsmen is exactly what I was looking for. There is a massive gap in the app store for this type of game, and we finally have a decent game to help fill it. Highly recommended.

I remember playing this game in ancient pre-iPhone days before 2008 on some long forgotten Nokia smartphone I forget the name of.

It was awesome back then. Downloading free version with intent towards the premium if they haven't screwed it up and it sounds like they haven't from the comments in this thread.

Does anyone know if there is a way to move buildings or objects after you place them?

Fire Tower Needs Water

How to you get more water for the fire tower? My water levels are maxed in the summary screen and I have wells near the tower. What am I missing?

Yes the premium version is without ads and you get an extra bonus on prestige points (in game currency). But you deactivate also the ads within the freemium game anytime!

I began playing Townsmen on my Motorolla V400 flip phone. So, I was super excited to find this one! I am giving it 4 stars mainly because I would rather the premium version had no IAPs. My ideal town building game would be this one completely void of IAPs.

But if you're tired of attacking others towns and them killing yours, or tired of waiting for long timers, this one will be quite refreshing! And sure you can try the free version, but I recommend buying the ad-free version.

hi, you can play the whole game without paying anything. Townsmen is an old brand and the seventh part now

We had to make it as F2P cause consumers wanted it. The premium version is without Ads plus extra prestige as already mentioned. But you can deactivate also the ads anytime in the freemium version. Its a classic building up strategy game without battles

Are there any plans for a retina update?

Great game btw, works very well on a touchscreen.
