Review: Durak

I have a problem. I went way in over my head and now I’m going to have to pay, literally. It’s times like these where you think of rushing upstairs and throwing all your stuff into the nearest suitcase and throwing it into the back of your car on the nearest Sunday while the rain falls hard and the cool air chills. Well, that was what I was doing. It might not be rewarded for being the most trustworthy or brave move, but it was the choice I was making for myself. I was playing this little game called Durak. It was simple, fun and entertaining, it was a great game that I played with the guys. Well I started to bet, and I bet with the wrong people, and lost to the wrong people. My debt was too high for me to pay; I would not be able to afford it no matter what I tried. They were sending people after me, to make me pay. All I could do was drive away into the night as the rain fell hard and the cool air chilled.

The object of this game is to get rid of all your cards before your opponent does. No, you cannot just throw your cards on the table and shout, “I win!” It’s not that simple. People have been raving about this game and it’s easy to see why. Its fun to play and the graphics are amazing. I cannot stop playing with the cards on the side of the screen before you choose to play. Single player is a blast as you get to choose how many opponents you will face. The multiplayer isn’t bad at all either, if your friend has the game and you guys go into multiplayer; prepare for a celebration from the winner once the game is over.

The graphics are outstanding for the game, the overall music and sound for it fits in perfect, the interface is great and easy to use, and overall the game is fun to play. You can play it alone or with a friend. This game is recommended for anyone who wants to give iDevice card gaming a shot. Trust me, it is worth that shot.
