An Elder Scrolls game would be amazing.
About the fact that the iPhone has download games, not physical disks or cartridges, sometimes makes it hard to see yourself playing the games in 3-4 years in the future. I'm going to try to keep it as long as I can, but there will be the next big thing in portable gaming in a few years. And that thing, even if it was from Apple, probably won't support this generation of games. It's not like Nintendo, being able to put Gamecube games in the Wii. --------------- |

I don't know.. can't speak for other companies but I'd be surprised if Apple does not keep the iDevices backwards compatible. The appstore is their holy grail, their not going to want to piss off consumers by coming out with a new iPhone or iPod touch that doesn't support existing apps. People like me, would either have to re-shell out a whole helluva lot of cash to get our app catalogs back, or would never consider upgrading to a new non backwards compatible device.

If it were built from the ground up on the iPhone, and not porter from some other platform, and provided a good gamin experience. I'd consider it.
However, los of the companies on the app store that make games are pretty small, and don't really have the resources to make that kind of game. Rolando and the stuff from gameloft, etc is great, but you still essentially get a short cell phone game. The stuff EA is releasin are just ports takin advantage of a new platform with significantly lowered standards compared to others. And arguably the most anticipated game, GTA, is still an after thought, something they decided because it would reach more people. Most of the money porting that probably went to the PSp version. So basically, as it stands now, a company charging $20 for a as is takin advantage of the consumer. Edit: sweet Primus spelling on iPod is terrible Last edited by Maeks; 11-03-2009 at 02:39 PM. Wrong, the App Store really doesn't even make Apple that much money.

Nope. When I look at the graphics on the best games, they are good but not £20 good. That's what sells a game for me. I would buy a game if it had as many levels as a psp game.
