Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Plants Vs. Zombies HD says that now... but when it first came out, it was just under general apps, and the only requirements listed were "Requires iPhone OS 3.2 or later". I figured it might contain the iPad version as well as an enhanced iPhone version (including the survival mode/zen garden/etc).
If the next gen iPhone is called the 'iPhone HD' (like people are rumouring) then things will start to get really confusing. I thought Apple would make a separate category for the iPad's apps but unfortunately they have mixed them all into the same App Store.
I think they have them seperated now. If you do a search for one of the ipod apps, it shows an "iPad apps" section (as well as the normal old vanilla "apps" section).
There's no way to seperate them in iTunes though. Not liking the idea of iPad apps being thrown into my iPhone apps collection
Yeah, but that's only when you search. It would be much better if there was a main homepage for iPad apps with top charts, new & noteworthy, what we've been playing etc. Maybe it will be updated. Again, maybe Apple will update iTunes so that the apps are separated.
I hope so. iTunes just got updated to v9.1 but that was just for iPad syncing..only other change I noticed is that the Applications tab is renamed to Apps.
I have 2-3 games waiting to be updated but it says it will be the XL or the HD version. Will this cause me not to be able to play on my iPhone or does it not affect this? Edit: Sorry, just talking about XL apps
