From what I've seen the majority of speedruns are on older console games. Has there been any exploration into mobile games? We believe our iOS game would be awesome for speedrunning, please give us your honest feedback. We just implemented timers and Game Center support which will be available next week.

Our game doesn't have cutscenes, and your time starts at the beginning of the level (first swipe) and ends at the end of the level (goal hit). The total time is an aggregate of all individual level times... This means that the whole game doesn't need to be played in one sitting. You can go back and try to get a better time on individual levels.

There is no limit to how fast you can swipe, but bumping into objects will stun the rabbit for a split second. Some people use two fingers to swipe very fast. Some levels are quite dynamic and have multiple routes.
The update (with leaderboards) is going to be out sometime next week, but we wanted to test the waters here and collect your insights!

    Thanks,
    Brian from RareSloth

Well, the Mikey series, Mos Speedrun, League of Evil games...among others are super popular and have (had?) a very lively competitive scene, so I'd say "Yes".
