This is a lot more fun than expected, how could anyone complain about the controls? Definitely the best top down auto shooter out... lol

Also, stealthiest IAP ever - people harassing the Dev into giving them a way to donate.

The sequel needs a full voxel engine where you swing the camera down into a tight slo-mo 3rd person POV for each level's finale. 'Deadly Bullet 2: Cranium Crunch'.

Game Impressions

Installed it. Played for ten minutes or so, reached city 2, and it was pretty fun. But all of a sudden the controls stopped working. Reinstalled game, rebooted iPad 4 (iOS 7.0.3) no way. No more direction controls.

This is very odd and doesn't make any sense, though I've been hearing some people having problems with the controls not working after a while or at all. I might need to do a refactoring on controls code to the next version. Sorry for the inconvenience but glad you liked it so far

Not sure if it was the update, but probably so because this is my first time playing since updating:

- the controls are now unresponsive intermittently. So far its only been the left side, and it misses a touch about once a minute or so. This kills the gameplay in this title.
- also, I'm getting frequent massive frame rate drops.

Also, have the rules changed? I don't remember your continues keeping your current kill amount before?

Edit: it did this^ for the first 10 minutes or so, and hasn't done it sense. I'm going to chalk it up to something to do with it being the first time playing since the update, or a hardware issue.

I also notice that the bullets now affect your path much more. It wasn't noticeable, to me anyway, before this update.

Yep, it's mentioned in the update that the kill count is remember when you die. I did this because it prevents frustration of getting stuck to the same levels but it also comes with a tradeoff that you actually lose all your gathered XP, so it makes you still want to finish it with one go, killing as many bad guys as possible.

Also, I think I might've increased the amount of effect how much the bullets derail your movement. Let me know, if it gets super annoying or if it doesn't really add anything and I could lower it back in the next update.

Congrats on the Pocket Gamer review (Silver - 8/10)

Deadly Bullet offers a single challenge, but it's a well-tuned challenge that'll spur you into toppling your best scores again and again. Best of all, the game is absolutely free. No ads, no panhandling for in-app purchases. It's just you and justice.
