Hi everyone, I would like to announce Sauce Digital's next game..... Space Balls .....It is a physics puzzle/stragtegy game, and should be a lot of fun. The basic objective is to capture a bunch of baddies, using a variety of different balls all with different abilities (Bombs, vortexs, splitters etc.) And to spice things up there will be loads of different space based objects to help and hinder you along the way (antimatter, gravity fields, asteroids etc. ). The game is into production, so I thought i should share some of the concept art. not much on it as yet, but the website is http://www.spaceballsgame.com cheers Morgan
Wow, the concept art looks absolutely quality. A couple of those balls remind me of the Comet in Kometen. I am really liking the polish on that screenshot that resides on the still of the phone.
Hi Ultimo Thanks for the compliments. Actually this is the first game that i've managed to afford a designer to help me out, so please say hello to Mel. She is responsible for the lovely ideas above. And also, a BIG BIG thanks to you guys who have been buying the games ive released so far - your excellent support has allowed this to happen. Morgan
I was expecting a Space Balls movie game, and was kind of bummed out when it wasn't. However, that got me into this thread looking through. Burning this upcoming game into my brain. It definately looks cool just by the concept art.
Lol me too, I thought to myself "Hell this is a game about 25 years late, but hell yes!!" This game and art does look great and let's be honest, Hollywood ports into video games usually are huge steaming piles of crapola. (Though if it were open space, missions for spacebucks, navigating a space crusin' Winnebago with your half man half dog sidekick Barf as your hunted down by Pizza the Hut and Dark Helmet... Video game gold I tell ya! Hard one to screw up.) I'm off topic once again.. Just hope the Mel Brooks conglomerate doesn't sue for copyright infringment haha. This morning may you all never forget the power of the Scwartz."
Looks cool, thanks for showing us the concept art, I'm always interested to see things like that beyond the standard screenshots. Best of luck, and let us know if/when you need beta testers. I know I'd be happy to sign up.
Oiy! Mel Could you PLEASE suggest me to a few sources on drawing Plz? I have joined this place, but haven't spent a minute on it... yet. Looking for a new job & othr things have kepd me occupied. I want the power to translate whts in ma Head & Vision to ze Canvas
Hopefully will be putting out a beta within a couple of weeks, i will post when needed, thanks Morgan
