I don't know about you but I get the feeling that Real Racing 3 is cheating and using trickery.
For example I found myself in a race with my friend in which we were the only two in the race. Now although I kept catching him in the corners he was able to constantly pull way ahead of me in the straights and ultimately win the race by a good margin. Now we both drive the Ford Focus. But my Focus has all the initial upgrades while his Focus has none. So how is it that he can pull so far ahead of me in the straights. That has nothing to do with skill and has everything to do with horsepower. This is why I think that Real Racing 3 is boosting the time-shifted opponents' cars abilities unrealistically in order to push us a little closer to upgrading, running out of winnings, and ultimately having to use IAP to upgrade. I think every race we compete in is a staged con job and has noting to do with true real-time multiplayer with nowhere near the real results we see in true real-time multiplayer. Back to Real Racing 2 for me. |

My favorite "easy money" race is the Autocross race in the "Pure Stock Challenge - Cloudmusiq European Showfight" (4th event) with a BMW M1.
It is so far the best price to cost race I found. 1 win = 1300 $ duration: 32 sec causes virtually no repair cost! I use this as my "farming"-event, when other repairs are running or I'm stuck somewhere else. I usually get 20.000$ in 10 minutes by repeating this race. It is super easy and you can win it with even a completely destroyed car (Nissan Silvia is enough). I can recommend this race especially for the beginning if you have problems winning other races and need to save money for upgrades. I'm still at the point where I'm looking for better low damage risk races with a higher price money. Let me know if anybody knows good races, I'll meanwhile try "The Stick"'s recommendations |

To maximize access to new races I recommend the following:
BMW Z4 M Coupe Ford Shelby GT500 Porsche 911 GT3 RS If you have loads of friends ( 40+ ), the following are great for farming: BMW 1 Series M Coupe BMW Z4 sDrive35is I can easily pull in $20,000+ for a single race using these cars. My Porsche 918 Spider concept is by far the most fun to drive. Unfortunately it's winnings will never come close to the ~$600k I paid for it. I'm currently saving for a McLaren F1. It has access to heaps of races. I'm sure it will be a huge money sink. Can't believe that races using expensive cars don't earn more than those with cheap cars. Edit: Scratch that, the Pagani Huayra is on sale, if I can raise the funds before the special closes I'll get it instead. Last edited by Altaem; 03-19-2013 at 10:42 PM.. Reason: Car on Sale |

Bought the Pagani Huayra. In any other racing game this would be where racing gets really cool. In RR3 it's where you hit the wall with car upgrades only possible through hours of grinding with lesser cars.
Probably best if I regard the game as finished and move on. |

I read somewhere that you can get pole position in RR3? How can you do this as I can see anyway for it. It's frustrating starting last everytime!
