Has the patching made the game better? Graphics look fantastic but it sounds like there is luck involved to get to areas. Having to be a specific form to jump higher or farther. Is this a mediocre game with great art or is it truly a fantastic game well worth it's full price? IOSgamer1980 Well-Known Member Nov 6, 2015 432 2 18 #3 IOSgamer1980, Dec 17, 2015 Is this sandboxy? I've heard it compared to Farcry 4. Jayg2015 Well-Known Member Jan 5, 2015 3,734 41 48 Male Player 1 Liberty city #4 Jayg2015, Dec 18, 2015 Bought but don't k ow what's going on in this game. I walk right forever and there isn't anything to do but walk. No quests or anything ... This to me isn't worth $2 unless I'm missing something . Been playing for twenty minutes I'm just walking to the right and jumping some nodoctors Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2009 1,212 28 48 #5 nodoctors, Dec 18, 2015 I played this for a bit on the PC and enjoyed it but didn't get back to it. This game is more for the walking simulator arthouse/stoner crowd than anything else. As you keep moving to the right the layout is somewhat randomized, but after every chunk of exploring to the right, you eventually get to a story portion/dialog, or a means to upgrade your deer god, and then continuing on your way. I think there is an "ending" or an end goal eventually, but that doesn't seem to be the point of it as much as just looking at it and exploring and hoping to find some new rando abilities. It was a relatively mysterious experience without any tutorial to go on, but I dug it. I might have to buy it here on sale and get back into it. Probably not recommendable for most people, but those who are interested in these types of experiences will dig it. If you're the kind of person who enjoys farting around in games like Fallout, the Elder Scrolls, Far Cry, etc playing around with them as sandboxes you'll really love this. If you came here for a traditional platformer or Metroidvania type game you might be let down. I am glad I read these before buying or I would have probably regretted my purchase. I owe you both a malt! Back to my back catalogue for now. nodoctors Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2009 1,212 28 48 #8 nodoctors, Dec 18, 2015 To be a little more fair to the game, I think people should watch some sort of trailer for it instead of judging it by the store pictures.
