I have to deal with auto play in Bioware titles, but in those case you only look at what will happen with your attacks and if you made the right choice to not get killed,BDO have autoplay but it's only ever used when I want to get in a far place in a shorter time, without a horse,I have an iPad Air in my case so it should not be problematic, sad that the controls seem unresponsive and the game build around auto play,it's liked in Asian countries but for me looking at a game playing itself nearly all the time is nonsense.
Netmable marvel future fight is another popular game that does rely on autoplay for grinding. But that's beside the point, I do agree with your comment that game does feel like it's built around autoplay due to unresponsive controls yet also remember this is soft launch so this by no means the finished version maybe things will change for better?
As I said before look at the bottom of screen next to chat box you will see (it will be tiny on small screen) auto. Tap that a few times until and that will turn off auto play.
When you get a quest, it is shown on the left side of the screen. The game instructs you to tap on it to start auto-questing. DONT. Just use your map, distance indicator, and joystick to find your way through to the next objective. Tap the objectives or speech bubbles to trigger dialogues. JUST DONT TAP ON THE QUEST TITLE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SCREEN.
It highlights when autoquest is enabled. Just tap the quest box to toggle it on and off. Same with he auto play icon near the chat box. I don't get why people complain about it when you can just turn it off. And like others have said, autoplay in PvP and dungeons gets you killed.
lol Just so everyone knows, you can re-click the quest title any time to turn on and off auto quest/combat.
Because even though you can turn it off, the entire game is based off being able to have it play automatically, and as such the game is simplified. Being able to turn it off helps but doesn't fix the core problems with games like this.
At least FF has enjoyable combat, though. So if I HAVE to heavily grind for some reason, It's not soul crushing like it could have been
Anyone else playing Lineage2: Battery Killer? Im on Giran01 server if anyone wants to party up. EDIT: Oops... forgot this was on soft launch and not out evvywhere yet.
I'm playing and loving it. Got a lvl 33 Shillien Knight going, really fun. Not investing too much time in it tho, as I'll reroll when the US servers open. This is the only "mmo" on mobile that's hooked me in.
Yeah I tied a few to level 31 until I decided on the dark elf knight. But that's not really relevant to my comment. I meant I'll refill when they open new servers for the global release
There are IAP purchases that are only useful when starting out, and help you power up for the late game which are nice. Also makes the game feel premium... maybe for the first 30 hours or so at the very least.
Lvl 49 archer on Dion2. Leader of GODLIKE. Our server have the first player to reach 120 today. It's quite an auto game with many people afking everywhere. But I love the graphics and the constant daily stuffs to do. In fact, many mmmorpg now has auto function. So it's up to user to use it or not.
